The Victorian Government has just released it's Port Futures document which outlines the future direction of the Victorian Ports System. The document covers key issues such as truck access charges (very important), inland ports, essential services, efficiency, productivity and security, to name just a few.

As you would all be aware, we are fast approaching the "silly season". There has already been a significant increase in container movements through the wharf terminals and this will continue as we near Christmas.
DP World have in fact already begun to move a large quantity of containers from their terminal to POTA for import availability. This has increased the length of time between vessel berthing and container availability by up to 2 days. We expect this to continue up to Christmas.
We fully understand your client's need for immediate delivery and we suggest that bookings are made as soon as possible to assist with booking timeslots to fulfil delivery requirements.
